“By searching for our roots, we come closer together as a human family.”
Where family and local history meet
Local history and family history are intertwined. Often, we cannot research one without knowing the other. Knowledge of local history explains why a family did things that affect more than one generation and knowing the family history shows the effect they had on local history.
“We are who we are because they were who they were.”
